How embarrassing. I’m sorry, but I can’t help giggling (sorry Chicago). Obama’s failure, even in a popularity contest, has wiped the Smug ™ right off the MSM’s collective faces. Their shock and awe is schadenfreude-tastic, I must admit.
How will they now be able to fawn and try to tell us that The World loves Obama and that he’ll be able to make Terrorists play nice-nice just with his mere presence, if he can’t even score some sporty thing?
Wait a tic … did they vote on the Olympics? Or the Olympics-Olympics? I need to know so that I can point and snicker whole-heartedly. Someone ask Whoopi, quickly!
Obama really is utterly useless. (aside from the awesome laugh he provided this morning.) He chooses THIS to spend his time and our resources on while ignoring, you know, troops fighting in actual wars and innocent, bright honor students being killed on the streets of Chicago and STILL fails. I assumed it was given that Chicago would be chosen, otherwise why would he waste the time on it and personally fly to Copenhagen? Which is even more frightening; Obama is either REALLY stupid or his hubris is even worse than I thought.
I mean, Chicago got the LEAST amount of votes in first round — literally cut out in the first round of voting. No ACORN at the IOC, huh? RACISTS ™ ! I wonder if Maureen Dowd heard the word “boy” after their vote?
I can only conclude that the tentacles of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy now have the Olympics in their evil grasp. That, or Obama just stinks. Perhaps Michelle should have worn a tank top so the IOC could have been enamored and cast under the same spell as our Press by her toned arms and her “impossible elegance”?
All I know now is that the IOC members better start preparing to get thrown under the bus. Though, it HAS to be running out of room by now.

This has been making me laugh all morning. It’s truly wonderful to know that the rest of the world isn’t as stupid as all the morons who voted for this giant chump. If I was on the IOC panel I would’ve just asked, “Don’t you have a war to be fighting right now and uh.. didn’t some innocent honor roll student just get brutally murdered by a senseless mob in your city?” Jeez, the audacity of that guy.
How many times does the anchor have to say “Chicago is out?” with that little insolent tone in his voice before his brain actually realizes that … Chicago is friggin’ out.

Maybe some of his staff are so afraid of him they are telling him what they believe he wants to hear (“Sure, Mr. President, Chicago is a LOCK…you really should spend a few million to fly to Copenhagen, it will make for great campaign video in 2012!”) because if they don’t they get fired (time to order a bigger bus). Of course, now that they made him look really bad the anger will be thrice. I had the misfortune once to be working for a narcissist at the same time I was married to one. I don’t need the DSM to tell you how unpleasant that can be.

A person who is in a subservient position cannot give consent for sex. If any of the people in Column A have a sexual relationship with the people in Column B, the relationship is BY DEFINITION abusive. Period.

i live in this putrid city, chicago. low income people cannot get housing because daley has used an instrumnet call the tax increment financing monies that are supposed to make communities better on cronyism. he has given gigantic loans to developers who greased his campaign. the olympics were also a vehicle to reward cronyism in the form of construction work. again, the rich would flourish even more. i am thrilled that as was said, the egotistcal team got there asses kicked. they are all phoney and disliked by many here in chicago. about 82 percent of people polled here, the olympics were not wanted. we have the highest taxes, highest crime rate and the poor/disabled are suffering more than ever. no were to live and we are becoming more and more impoverished. i am hoping daleys corruption gets discovered soon by the feds. or rather, the indicment that is surely coming, comes soon. oprah is a racist, but pretends she loves everyone! bullshit! most chicagoans have her number! fat ass ghetto bitch!
