Obama: Creating or Saving Bush Billboards!

It seems as if someone in Minnesota is is feeling that whole absence makes the heart grow fonder thing. Or else they, you know, realize that Obama is a huge failure. Now, if only Minnesota would apologize for that whole Al Franken deal.

Of course, some immediately tried to claim it was an internet hoax and some sort of photo shop. See, because George Bush is evil and all. NPR reports that it’s not!

But our friend Bob Collins at Minnesota Public Radio assures us he’s seen it with his own eyes:

There is a billboard along I-35 near Wyoming, Minn., with a huge photo of former president George W. Bush and this question: “Miss Me Yet?”

Now, the push is on to find out who paid to have it put up.

Bob says there’s no readily apparent claim of ownership on the billboard, so he’s heading back to the scene to see if he can find out who’s behind the message. He’s also got some local politicos looking into it. He’ll keep us posted.

Man, I miss that little smirky grin. Too bad Obama didn’t “inherit” that, instead of the lame “I’m super serious” face and nanny finger wagging.

And, in answer to the question, Yes. Yes, I do.

    This is priceless, Lori.

I’d love to put one up near my exit on the Beltway…except it would make me get all teary-eyed every night on the way home.

    Very nice.
