Oh Noes! Will Hugely Successful Kerry Rally Help Coakley?

January 19, 2010

By hugely successful, I, of course, mean total flop. Speaking of John Kerry, I do have to give the Democrats credit. In Martha — or is it Marcia? Whatevs –Coakley, they managed to find a politician in Massachusetts with even less charisma than John Kerry.

From Red Mass Group (emphasis added):

John Kerry Draws Epic Crowd In Worcester

They had John Kerry, their sitting US Senator, Jim McGovern their sitting US Congressman (and a supporter of terrorists), Tim Murray, our sitting Lt Governor and former mayor of Worcester, and the current mayor of Worcester, Joe O’Brien.  They still ONLY turned out about maybe 150 people.

I’m totally pointing and snickering. I don’t want to be too cocky and all, but I’m imagining a repeat of the shocked, weepy face pictures all over the news, like when Kerry lost in ‘04. And I’m maniacally (yet girlishly) giggling.

Clearly you meant to say 1,500 people. I mean, just look at that crowd. Scott Brown’s rally in Wrentham last night, now that was a bust. I think only 21 people showed up.

HAHA! Oh, that is made of awesome. I’m pretty sure I remember reading that Brown’s rally on the same day drew WAY more than Obama’s as well. So delicious!
