It Ain’t Easy Being A Ho
It really ain’t easy being a cheap whore as Senator Ben Nelson is learning. Senator Ben “You Don’t Even Have to Get Me Drunk First” Nelson isn’t any ordinary ho nor is he one of the sort of endearing “heart of gold” hos from the movies.
Poor Ben Nelson, he just can’t catch a break. For selling his soul to the company store all he got in return was contempt from the voting public, including those in his own state of Nebraska, and now his efforts to get a group of state Attorney Generals to “call off the dogs” is being rebuffed (and mocked):
Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) reached out Thursday evening to South Carolina GOP Attorney General Henry McMaster, the leader of a group of 13 Republican state attorneys general who are threatening to file suit against the Senate health care bill, and urged him to forgo any legal action, POLITICO has learned.
According to a copy of a memo sent by McMaster’s chief of staff to other GOP state attorneys general detailing the call, Nelson asked McMaster to “call off the dogs,” a reference to recent threats by the state AGs to file a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of a Medicaid provision in the bill that benefits Nebraska at the expense of other states
Nelson is trying to claim that eventually the deal he received will be extended to all fifty states. Of course, the only way the federal government can relieve the states governments of any burden is by either cancelling the programs to cause the burden or raising taxes. Anybody think that the government will be cancelling any programs any time soon?
So, Senator Nelson is so super whore-y that while he bends over and takes it for a boat-load of federal dollars, he expects all the other states to shut up and take it for free — at our, the taxpayers, expense, of course. Nelson, you ignorant slut. At least buy me a damn dinner. Seriously, could you? The stimulus is totally not working for me. Thanks!
