Paging CNN! Paging CNN!

CNN, I really think you need to  Fact Check Olympia Snowe’s claim that she’s a Republican.

From Gateway Pundit

Turncoat Republican Snowe Will Vote “Yes” For Obamacare

Snowe falls in October.
Sen. Olympia Snowe says she will vote for health care bill, only Republican to back legislation.

Once again… Here’s Sen. Snowe’s contact info:

Phone: (202) 224-5344
Toll Free: (800) 432-1599
Fax: (202) 224-1946

Here’s hoping that 2012 finds Snowe ironically being frost-bitten on the arse by the voters and snow-plowed right out of the Senate.

P.S.  I’m  pretty sure the phrase “a few snow balls short of an avalanche” was originally “Snowe balls”.   Apparently, she’s lacking the figurative ones and a backbone  as well.

“CNN, I really think you need to Fact Check Olympia Snowe’s claim that she’s a Republican.”

    Heh, good one LZ.

    Some verse:

    A RINO named Senator Snowe
    On ‘bamacare she’s decidely pro
    When 2012 comes,
it’ll be out with the bums.
And Ms Snowe will be eating some crow.

Well, Charles Krauthammer, a man I have a lot of respect for just daid Snowe will not vote for a bill with a public option. And they played a sound bite where she said that very thing.

That being said, IMHO, while some health care holes need to be plugged, the current forms being considered aint the way to go.

Good luck getting Olympia out. Maine is a solidly blue collar, union, left leaning State. We’ve had our own public option health care disaster in play for several years now, the legislature is solidly Democrat for 40 years. Olympia and Susan represent what passes for Republican up here. It’s also important to recognize that the Democrats run people like career dogooder Chellie Pingree and paper company union stewards like Mike Michaud, both of them succeed in making Susan and Olympia look nearly conservative.

    Sad ain’t it?

But since we’re on a roll how about getting rid of Lincoln Chaffee and John McCain? There are plenty of opportunities nationwide.

This proves Snowe was lying back in September when she said:

“Well, you know, it’s — I’ve always been a Republican for the traditional principles that have been associated with the Republican Party since I, you know, became a Republican when I registered to vote. And that is limited, you know, limited government, individual opportunities, fiscal responsibility, and a strong national defense. So I think that those principles have always been a part of the Republican Party heritage, and I believe that I, you know, reflect those views. And I haven’t changed as a Republican, I think more that my party has changed.”

    Or this:

“There is no question the design of a cap-and-trade system must be tailor-made for the context of America’s current economic state and incorporate the views of the business community,” said Senator Snowe, co-chair of the International Climate Change Taskforce. “If we successfully implement a cap-and-trade system that will reduce long-term risk and provide market certainty, the economy undoubtedly will respond with ingenuity, entrepreneurship, and job expansion, while simultaneously addressing climate change, one of the greatest challenges of this century.”

She can’t possibly be for “limited government” when she signs onto the biggest expansion of power for the federal government in the history of the United States of America. She is a liar and this proves it.

To shamelessly paraphrase an unknown person, “May the fleas of a thousand camels rest upon your labia.”

Bingo. That old saying “I didn’t leave the party, the party left me?” I feel more like “I didn’t leave the party, the politicians *claiming* to be the party left me”

Only 13 months until RINO season opens.

What do you call a Republican who’s neither socially conservative nor fiscally conservative? Unemployed. Why would Mainans continue to vote for a Republican who votes democrat when they can vote for the real thing?

Yeppers, Javelina. At least in Pennsylvania if people still vote for Specter, they *know* they are totally voting for a Dem (though, if they didn’t know that already, they’re a bit daft)

And at least it gives a chance for someone, you know, *actually* fiscally conservative to run against him. Or her in Snowe’s case.
