Speaking of Eugenics, Meet our new Science Czar. (And He Hearts Redistribution of Wealth!)

September 9, 2009

I think I get why they are called Czars now; they all appear to hate Capitalism. And, you know, people. At least the plebeian kind that are not part of the super-smart liberal aristocracy.

First, it was discovered that John Holdren was not pro-choice; but it was totally ok because it wasn’t THAT kind of choice. It was the opposite, in fact; he argued in favor of MANDATORY abortions as a means of population control. From FrontPage Magazine:

“If some individuals contribute to general social deterioration by overproducing children, and if the need is compelling, they can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility” (pp. 837-838). Moreover, if the United States government refuses to take proper measures, they authorize the United Nations to take compelling force.

The excerpt is from his book, Ecoscience, which he co-authored, and which also espoused a World Government that would have global authority, including population control, and advocated for a global Redistribution of Wealth.

Oh, but that was 30 years ago, Obama and his surrogates shriek. Stop nitpicking you nutty wingnuts! Racists! Shut up, Shut up, Shut up! Also, st00pid George Bush.

Um, this video was taken 2 years ago.  In it, Holdren argues for a redistribution of wealth achieved in part by green policies. Oh yeah, he also says that America isn’t really Exceptional.  I suppose everything that America has done as the greatest source for good in the World has really been a ruse perpetrated by nefarious racist, evil mongers. Or dum-dum crackers. I can’t really keep straight which one we are supposed to be. I’m also no longer sure if being called Un-American is an insult to the Left.

What other radical views does Holdren still embrace? And how will we know, if his vetting, or lack thereof, was anything like it was forVan Jones. Or worse; if the President knows … and just doesn’t care.

Well, I suppose we’ll just have to go on a “smear campaign”. And by smear campaign, I mean the Newspeak definition: finding out annoying things like facts and evidence on our own.  Because apparently, neither our Government nor our *cough* esteemed *cough* Press care.

(read the whole FrontPage article; very informative albeit frightening as hell)

We’re heading back to the 1920s. These thoughts led to the Nazi atrocities, sterilizing and then murdering those not fitting the “Aryan” ideal.

But hey it’s ok, better us then them they thinky dink.

You are sadly right on. But then those were the original Progressive policies, no? Remember Prohibition was a “public health issue” too.

Lord willing we will have the humility and faith to remain true to Him and His people, and His Holy hill…
      because if we don’t;

Or worst … if the President knows and agrees with this loony tunes.

TY for the link to Obama’s Biggest Radical By Ben Johnson – Feb 27, 2009

You’re exactly right. Informative and frightening as hell. brrrr

I collect End Times movies. Holdren’s beliefs and global agenda are creepily similar to every one of them. And they’re all based on the Book of Revelation.

    Like I said … brrr.

This one line PISSED ME OFF … and I’ve got noone home right now to vent at. So here I blow …

In that article, Holdren is quoted:

“By and large, professional military officers, especially field grade and higher, hope for an end to international tensions about as fervently as farmers hope for drought.”

Bull puckeys. Nobody hates war more than soldiers who have seen it. The fact that any of them re-enlist is a testament to their courage and commitment to bringing about real and lasting peace.

It really chaps my buns when liberals talk about what military people think. I’ve had up close and in person experience with the utter contempt and disregard these peace-niks have for actual military people.

They don’t have a clue what the military is really like, because they haven’t got enough humility to try to understand them.

Our family has sent four kids to Iraq and Afghanistan. My youngest is over there as I type this. My two military daughters grew up in our parish. They went to CCD and youth group, served on the altar, helped out with the pre-schoolers, got up to do readings at Mass. We have always been very active in that community. The kids’ pictures are on the Pray for Our Troops bulletin board. Our two military sons-in-law have each lost a best friend to a terrorist bomb. Theirs and their friends’ pictures are on the board also.

To date, not one liberal in our parish has ever asked us what we or our kids believe about the war and how we reconcile actively participating in it with our Christian beliefs. They’ve never asked how, having lost best friends and knowing the war is far from won, both the boys can choose to re-enlist.

When the liberals decided to invite an anti-war group to have a media event at our parish facility, they didn’t bother to ask any of us how we felt about it. When we found out shortly beforehand and gathered a protest group to air our feelings, the pastor blew us off to go to another church for a PRAY TO END THE WAR meeting!

Just a few months later, these same liberals hosted a two-part seminar about American-sponsored torture that began with the assumption that “of course our soldiers torture people.” We have not one but TWO kids who are Army interrogators with multiple deployments to both war fronts! Another parishioner is a thirty-year veteran of the Army who has been to Iraq AND Gitmo. Nobody putting together this torture seminar bothered to ask us ahead of time for our input.

We found the hand-outs and tone at the first seminar really offensive, so we prepared materials to hand out at the second one. The one priest who attended and some of the lay participants took copies. But when my husband held a packet out to our pastor, she turned her head away. (Our parish is too small to have a live-in priest. Our on-site pastor is a nun.)

Last fall, the liberals were very pro-Obama. When we tried to talk to Sister about his abortion position, she gave us a three-page article about why it was okay for a Catholic to vote for a pro-abortion candidate. We both read it carefully and found it to be very short on clarity and totally absent of any sound moral teaching. We sent her a bunch of stuff we thought was important and pertinent. She emailed: “Thanks for the materials but I can’t promise I will look at any of it now or ever.”

In the past year, besides the torture seminar, the Peace and Social Justice Committee at our parish has also hosted an Al Gore fest that was billed as an “educational forum” about climate change. They presented the famous hockey stick graph as gospel and totally ignored all evidence that Gore’s position is based on bad science and an evil, anti-Christian agenda. They’re also in favor of ObamaCare, of course, and so far have ignored any evidence we’ve tried to present to show how it conflicts with Catholic social teaching.

Meanwhile, they don’t lift a finger to do a single thing to even discuss, never mind educate or rally support for or actually get out there and DO anything to help pregnant women choose life or to end the horror of legal abortion.

Thank you, Chrissy. Excellent points and very well said. I also am FOREVER grateful for your sons, as well as to you and your family for your service to us all. A debt of gratitude that I can never repay. Thank you.

This bears repeating; it ticks me off so much as well. They always try to paint our troops as war mongerers who get some sort of “kick” out of it. Um, no. It’s HELL. They KNOW that. They’ve been through it while all y’all disparaging them have been sitting on your arses watching American Idol.

Nobody hates war more than soldiers who have seen it. The fact that any of them re-enlist is a testament to their courage and commitment to bringing about real and lasting peace.

Thanks from me too for your family’s service, here and on the front line.

My dad served three years in Viet Nam when I was in grade school. I am very sensitive to the families whose military members are in harms way. I know how it feels to be proud, yet concerned for safety, as a loved one is in harms way.

Please, never forget, there are far more folks in the USA who truly honor you and your families sacrifice than there are idiots who care not, but benefit from the sacrifice.

Hi again Chrissy, I just now realize you have the cool grandson who saw through the President. My Grandma was very important to me when my dad was in Viet Nam. We lived in my Mom’s the (and my hometown, San Antonio) and she helped a lot. Double kudos for you!

Chrissy, that was one of the best, informative comments i’ve read. thank u! and God bless your family and our troops!

it surprises me not one bit that Mr. Holden is so dismissive and derisive of the military. that is a de-facto plank of all Leftists. to them, a military force is only good for being used to control its own citizens. that mindset, plus the eugenics Mr. Holden believes in so passionately, equals the road to Auschwitz, except they will be called FEMA camps. history will repeat, and my true wish is that my camp has air-conditioning, and that i can fool them into believing that i am re-educatable before i have to get their “vaccination”.

    Bull Puckey!

No need to sugar coat it for us Chrissy. I am an historian, soon to be a high school teacher, and a religious pacifist. But it brings tears to my eyes to hear someone like Holdren speak about soldiers and sailors and Marines this way. And it fills me rage as well, that some pencil-neck academic, claims to know any such things.

Just how do men and leaders like Sherman, Patton, or Lee, or even Kipling, fit into his picture of the bloodthirsty warmonger he so likes to condemn and crucify for his sensibilities?

    Chrissy, thank you for venting.
    God bless you and yours.
I shall be praying for y’all.
