A College Learns: You Reap What You Sow

August 2, 2009

So, Monroe College, how’s that Liberal Indoctrination working out for you?

She went to college to boost her chances of finding a great job once she got out of school, but now that that hasn’t happened, Trina Thompsons her money back.

Thompson, a graduate o Monroe College , is suing her school for the $70,000 she spent on tuition because she hasn’t found solid employment since receiving her bachelor’s degree in April, according to a published report.

The business-oriented school in the Bronx didn’t do enough to help her find a job, Thompson alleges, so she wants a refund. The college says it does plenty for grads.

The 27-year-old information-technology student accuses the school’s Office of Career Advancement for not living up to its end of the deal and offering her the leads and employment advice it promised, according to The New York Post.

“They have not tried hard enough to help me,” the beleaguered Bronx resident wrote in her lawsuit, filed July 24 in Bronx Supreme Court.

Hey, guess what? If you force-feed kids liberal ideology and  teach them that they are entitled to whatever they want just because they Want It, they’re going to have Entitlement Issues and, you know, be pathetic whiners.   IF you had deigned to try living in the real world once in a while instead of your Ivory Towers, you might have figured that out by now and saved yourself from such pesky lawsuits. And saved the rest of us from having to now deal with the pitiful products of your indoctrination.

Sadly, now The Grasshoppas are surpassing The Masters.

In a way, even though it is so ridiculous and a waste of time, I also would like her to keep pushing this “case”. It shines a light on the very dangerous Entitlement Mentality prevalent today.

    She’s 27? 27!? Are you kidding me?

As I said on my tweet, luckily they published her name so nobody has to make the mistake of hiring this nightmare.

Not only has the school reaped what it has sown, but from what I read in the full article, I suspect mom has as well. Keep enabling mom and you’ll have a lifelong roommate!

YUP. Same age as my little brother. I should tell him to sue Rutgers since he’s “only a bartender” and they didn’t get him a “good” job (meanwhile, he loves bartending, is raking in the cash even in this economy. For some reason, people are still going out to eat and drink)

And, yes, her Mom is just as culpable. (I use the term “mom” loosely, as I guarantee she is one of those “I’m my daughter’s BFF people)

These insufferable whiners will be used as an excuse to institute more socialism. I can’t wait.

We have a bumber crop of crybabies about to hit the streets with the same mentality of this person.

I swear I find myself praying for an early death more and more these days.

Ummm…yeah. I’m in the IT field and, if you can’t get a job in computers, even in this economy, you’ve got issues!
